The Nutrition Science Foundation of Chinese Nutrition Society—Yum China Dietary Health Foundation was jointly established by the Chinese Nutrition Society and Yum China. It is dedicated to promoting balanced diets and improving dietary habits among Chinese residents. Over time, it has grown into an influential research fund that continuously supports scientific study of dietary nutrition and the promotion of healthy eating lifestyles. The fund supports projects including "Nutritional Health in Catering," "Dining Out Behavior," "Healthy Restaurant Development" and "Urban Resident Health." In 2025, funded research included studies on light-meal consumption behaviors and health impacts, the science behind coffee consumption, and meat cooking optimization.
As of the end of 2025, the Yum China Dietary Health Foundation has cumulatively provided funding of RMB 27 million+ to 100+ projects.
