Through innovative platforms and sustained commitment, Yum China deliver systematic public education on food safety and nutrition, embedding food safety and nutritional knowledge into daily lives of the customers to raise the public health awareness and promote healthy lifestyles.

For seven consecutive years, we has partnered with the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology to support the National Science Popularization Month. Using KFC tray liners, the Company has consistently educated consumers on food safety, nutrition and health. In 2025, responding to the National Whole Grain Action Plan (2024–2035) issued jointly by seven ministries including the National Development and Reform Commission, Yum China focused on whole grains. It used tray liners to introduce their nutritional value and proper consumption methods to consumers, distributing 21 million+ themed educational liners. As of the end of 2025, Yum China has cumulatively distributed 120 million+ educational tray liners in total, helping promote healthy diet nationwide.
